Morio Iwai and the Chamber of Secrets

Self Introduction

  • Research overview

I develop technology to measure biological signals without physical contact and to easily assess health status.
I focuse on measurement techniques for health parameters such as respiration, heart rate, SpO₂, and blood pressure, utilizing methods including magnetocardiography, capacitive coupling electrodes, cameras, and radar.
I also employ signal processing, statistical analysis, and machine learning to extract and estimate features from biological signals and to perform noise reduction.
By integrating these technologies, I aim to realize biological monitoring and health assessment systems suitable for use in everyday environments.
