Research Interest
My primary research interest lies in understanding the effect of Aquaporin during cold acclimation and freezing tolerance . Aquaporin is an integral membrane protein which facilitates the movement of water across plasma membrane in both plant and animal. By analyzing the various isoforms of plasma membrane specific aquaporins of Arabidopsis thaliana, I try to evaluate their effects on plant growth and survivality.
