Designing Practice

Introduction of our curriculum: We have practice camp in Iwate prefecture every year, discuss about regional activation with research workers in the area and conduct fieldwork and make suggestions for the activation. We also have chances to interact with universities in overseas through workshops.press-showing.

BA 1st Year

During freshmen year, students learn basic design technique and produce works using familiar materials.

・Designing chocolates for giving love
・Making beautiful stereoimages by carving chalk

BA 2nd Year

During anterior half of sophomore year, students learn sketching and making models which are fundamental for designing.

・Making spinning-top with lathe
・Designing of Pitagoraswitch( A systematic playing machine similar to domino)
・Making Three-dimensional surface shaped form plaster
・Designing letter opener made of metal
・Making a model from Styrofoam

BA 3rd Year
